We hope you enjoy the New Reveals as much as we do!
Last month the winner came from Marie's blog.  Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize winner this month?
Itty Bitty Bots is the one I'm showcasing for the Jan 1 Reveal. For today's card, I stamped the images in VersaMark and heat set each one.  Robot #1 was heat set with Bronze Rose embossing powder and Robot #2 was heat set with Silver Detail embossing powder.  Both were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out.

The background is a die from Poppy Stamps and it was die cut out of Sticker Paper and then covered with Sunny Daze glitter.  Memory Box (Large Ringlets) die cut was heat embossed with Super Thick Clear embossing powder and adhered over the glittery background.

The sentiment, which is part of the set was heat embossed with Silver Detail embossing powder.  The robots were placed in and around the large ringlets, as if they were floating in space.  I think this birthday card could be used for either a guy or gal, even though it has lots of glitter on it.  What do you think?

I'm the last one on the SNS Blog Hop.  I hope you left a comment on each of our blogs in order to have a chance at winning all of the new stamp sets released this month!

Happy 2015 everyone!!

Happy Birthday {pop up}

front

inside
Who wouldn't want to get a fun surprise pop up birthday card?  Today's card uses the Die-Versions Happy Birthday pop-up die.  This is the last of the fourteen samples I created using the new DV Pop Up and Cut Out dies.

I paper pieced the letters with thin self-adhesive glitter paper.  The front of the card was dry embossed using a Spellbinders embossing folder (Dainty Dots) and the fringe on the party hat is covered with Yellow Gold tinsel glitter.

Merry Christmas

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy and Healthy 2015!

One of my design teams participated in a Christmas card exchange and these are the cards I made for them.  The Christmas trees and tree decorations are from Dee's Distinctively Dies and you can mix and match.   I have to admit I got a little carried away decorating all these trees :-).  Various other dies and embossing folders were also used to complete each card.

Congrats {pop up}

front
Die-Versions new Congrats pop up card is a great way to celebrate someone's accomplishments.  There are numerous ways to use these pop up dies, but for this one, I paper pieced the letters as I wanted them to match the stripe on the front.  A few sequins and ribbon, and you've got a fun and quick way to say way to go!

Sweetheart Frog

Sweetheart Frog is of two Valentine's themed cards revealed this month from Sparkle N Sprinkle, although I used non traditional colors.

The image is colored with Copic markers and Dark Chocolate flock was added to the cat tails. Purple Dust glitter enhances the wings of the dimensional dragonfly and Aqua Marine glitter gives sparkle to the rings of water around the lily pads.  White Detail embossing powder accents the edges of the card base and was also used for the sentiment.

Holidays {Scrapy Land Challenge #8}

Christmas will soon be here (very soon!) and the theme for the bi-weekly challenge at the Scrapy Land  Challenge is Holidays plus use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

For my holiday card, I incorporated the Die-Versions Christmas Town Scene with Sizzix Tim Holtz's Holiday Words - Script dies and lots of glitter.    The town scene and the sentiment words were heat embossed with Sparkle embossing powder and the background, which was die cut from Sticker Paper using the Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three, was covered with Navy glitter.

Now we want to see your Holiday creations.  You have until January 4th to upload your projects to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  The winner, chosen by the Designers, will receive a $15 gift certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land.

Toyland Bear

Toyland Bear is one of the new stamp sets from Sparkle N Sprinkle this month.  I decided to do something a little different and created a pocket card with my sentiment stamped on a tag that is hidden behind the image.

The image is colored with Copic markers and Pink Spirit Sparkle N Soft flock was added to his paw pads (along with Dimensional Glue)  Cloud Nine glitter was added to sticker paper and the Frantic Stamper (Alternating Diagonals Card Pane) was stamped with VersaMark and Daffodil embossing powder was heat set on top.

Today I'm sharing another one of the pop up die samples that I created for Die-Versions new pop up series.  This is the Love pop-up and after die cutting the cardstock, I dry embossed it with the Hearts embossing folder from Spellbinders.  Distress Inks (Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick) was used to distress the inside of the card.

This card was created using the Die-Versions Get Well cut out and Lacey Dots border die.  Navy glitter accents the message and the background was dry embossed using a Spellbinders embossing folder (Garden Lattice).

A quick and easy card to create and easy to mail.

Birthday Cake {pop-up - Scrapy Land Challenge #7}

front
inside

Today is the beginning of Challenge #7 over on the Scrapy Land  blog and the theme is Anything Goes using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  Pretty easy considering that Scrapy Land carries over 40 different brands.
My surprise pop up card uses three different dies, all from Die-Versions: Birthday Present, Love You Express Banner, and the new Birthday Cake pop up die.

On the front of the card, the bow on the Birthday Present and the edge of the card was glittered with Lavender Iris glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  A strip of ribbon conceals the joint between the two different cardstocks.

Two patterned papers, plus a solid for the "icing" in the cake were used for the inside. (Tip: you get a crisper fold and it's less bulky if you use thin papers for the inside.)  I cut apart the Express Banner and adhered them to paper floss to create a banner for each side of the card.  Glossy Accents was added to each of the letters for a shiny effect.  The candles were colored with Spica glitter pens.

Now it's your turn to create.  Just remember to use at least one (or more) brands of dies that Scrapy Land sells in your creation.  It would also be really helpful if you listed the brands you used.  The winner of this challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Celebrate {pop up and cut out}

Pop-up

I've got two cards to share with you today.  Both are "Celebrate" cards using the new Celebrate Pop-up die and Celebrate Cut Out die from Die-Versions and are pretty self explanatory.

The pop up uses festive patterned paper with Zva Creatives crystals.  Glossy Accents was added to the letters to make the pop even more.

Cut out

For the second card, I positioned the cut out die three different times on the patterned cardstock.  Copic markers were used to color each of the letters and Goosebumps Texture spray was added for a bit of texture.  I used the  Distress Embossing technique for the edges (Distress Ink - Fired Brick and Clear embossing powder).  A solid background was adhered behind the front panel to make the words stand out even better.
