Need a Mechanic?

This is the third Wednesday and time for a new Inspiration Challenge from Dude Time Doodles.  This week our challenge is:

ANYTHING GOES, as long as it's for a DUDE

Our fabulous sponsor this week is The Ribbon Carousel and they have graciously offered a $10 gift certificate to their store.  Be sure to go check them out.

Using Grease Monkey Mike, a Bonibleaux Designs digital image, I created a gift card/business card holder with an easel stand on the back.  So once the gift card is used, it's still a functional gift to hold business cards.  As usual, Mike is colored with Copic markers, fussy cut out, and pop dotted for added dimension.

To create the background I used alcohol inks and glossy photo paper.  I made two different sheets, one using shades of blue and the other using oranges, yellows, and reds.  The card holder is an album pocket die from AccuCut and those fun tools are three of the Sweet Petite dies (pliers, socket, screwdriver) from Die-Versions that I cut out using sticky backed paper and covered with two different shades of glitter.  Who says you can't use glitter on a guy card?

Now it's your turn!  You can enter as many times as you like, but no back linking.  And remember, it must be for a guy!  It can't get much easier than this.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  Be sure to visit the rest of the Dude/Dudettes to see what they've created for you this week.  It's sure to inspire!

Anne, this is wonderful and anyone would love it even without that gift card. I have to say though that a gift card is about the best embellishment anyone could put on card! You are so creative!!!
